FAQs About Our Paint Correction Process

Not necessarily. Many vehicles we see here at our Sanford, Florida vehicle detailing shop require more work than the standard package pricing allows. This is all determined upon initial in-person inspection, so you are never left to wonder if our services are out of your price range.

Yes, we do require having your paint corrected prior to the installation of an Aquatek ceramic coating. This is so we can guarantee the quality of your chosen coating.

Our paint correction packages are only part of the ceramic coating installation services we provide. The correction itself at Detail Solutions Auto Spa often takes only up to a few hours to complete, whereas the installation and curing time on a ceramic coating is the more time-consuming service.

This is actually one of the more commonly misunderstood characteristics of paint correction. Using abrasion, we level off the surfaces surrounding a minor paint defect, essentially erasing it. We do NOT use fillers or other material to patch defects, only cutting, compounding, and polishing techniques.

Detail Solutions of Sanford Florida is the 2022 Paint Assassin of the Year winner! An achievement voted on by detailing peers showcasing a high level of paint correction thoroughness and competence.
